Job Description
Are you passionate about healthcare and looking for a rewarding career path? CVS Health is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Pharmacy Technician Trainees in Pomona, CA. This entry-level, full-time position offers comprehensive paid training, including full support and resources for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam. No prior experience is required; we are looking for dedicated individuals eager to learn and grow within the pharmacy field. You will work closely with pharmacists and other team members, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic retail pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all required company training modules and state-specific licensing requirements.
- Actively participate in on-the-job training, shadowing experienced pharmacy technicians and pharmacists.
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
- Operate pharmacy systems for data entry, refill requests, and insurance processing.
- Maintain pharmacy cleanliness, organization, and adherence to all health and safety regulations.
- Stock shelves, manage inventory, and assist with ordering and receiving medications.
- Prepare for and successfully complete the PTCB certification exam with company-provided resources and support.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong desire to learn and develop a career in pharmacy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
