Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Pharmacy Logistics Hand to join our clean and organized warehouse facility in McKinney, TX. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of pharmaceutical products, ensuring they are stored, picked, packed, and prepared for shipment according to strict quality and safety guidelines. This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail, a commitment to cleanliness, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is a plus, but we are open to training motivated individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. This role plays a critical part in the healthcare supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and label pharmaceutical products for outgoing shipments.
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, verifying quantities and product integrity against manifests.
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment in compliance with all regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, DEA).
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and efficiently, after proper training.
- Perform routine inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and quality control standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Prepare shipping documentation and assist with loading and unloading trucks.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic math skills for counting and inventory verification.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or pharmaceutical environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or barcode scanners.
- Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or similar quality systems.
- Forklift or pallet jack certification (training provided if needed).
