Job Description

Join Iron Mountain as a Historical Document Tagger for our pivotal Digital Archive Project. This entry-level role is crucial for accurately cataloging and indexing a diverse range of historical documents, facilitating their digital preservation and enhancing accessibility. You will be responsible for applying specific tags and metadata to documents, ensuring high standards of accuracy and consistency. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, a methodical approach, and a commitment to preserving historical information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Precisely tag and categorize historical documents according to established guidelines and taxonomies.
  • Input metadata accurately into our digital archiving system, ensuring consistency and completeness.
  • Perform quality checks on tagged documents to identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies.
  • Handle sensitive and delicate historical materials with extreme care and adherence to preservation protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and security regarding all historical documents and data.
