Job Description

Join Rona Inc. this summer as a Patio Dining Set Builder! We are seeking detail-oriented and handy individuals to assemble and prepare various patio dining sets for our valued customers. This temporary role is perfect for those who enjoy working with their hands, have a knack for following instructions, and are looking for flexible outdoor work during the warmer months. You will be responsible for ensuring all patio sets are assembled correctly, safely, and efficiently, contributing directly to our customers’ ability to enjoy their outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately assemble various types of patio dining sets, including tables, chairs, benches, and other outdoor furniture, following manufacturer's instructions.
  • Inspect all components for quality and ensure sets are complete and free from damage before and after assembly.
  • Organize and maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Efficiently manage time to meet assembly targets and customer delivery schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress or potential issues.
  • Assist with loading and unloading assembled sets as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex assembly instructions.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures in a workshop or retail environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in furniture assembly or a similar manual trade.
  • Experience with outdoor power equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Customer service experience.
