Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Remote Health Intern with a strong focus on healthcare experience to join our innovative team. This 100% remote internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience within a leading healthcare system. The intern will support initiatives aimed at enhancing patient and consumer experiences across various digital and direct touchpoints. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to project management, data analysis, and the development of strategies that improve healthcare delivery and patient satisfaction. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about healthcare, technology, and improving the human experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the research and analysis of current healthcare consumer experience trends and best practices.
- Support the development and implementation of patient experience improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the collection, organization, and analysis of patient feedback and satisfaction data.
- Help prepare reports and presentations on key findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and IT teams on projects related to digital health and patient engagement.
- Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and insights to improve healthcare services.
- Shadow team members to learn about various aspects of healthcare administration and patient advocacy.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient and company information.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong interest in healthcare experience, patient advocacy, or digital health.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (academic or volunteer) in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools or survey platforms.
- Experience with project coordination or event planning.
- Basic understanding of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
