Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Pallet Stacker to join our heavy duty logistics picking team in Peterborough. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse, involving the safe and precise stacking and movement of pallets using various equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring that all inbound and outbound items are handled correctly and stored optimally. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate pallet stacking equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move products.
  • Perform heavy duty logistics picking, ensuring accurate selection and preparation of goods for dispatch.
  • Verify product quantities and quality against picking lists and delivery notes.
  • Stack pallets securely and systematically, optimizing space and ensuring stability.
  • Conduct routine checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or damage.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity targets.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items and prolonged standing.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating pallet jacks or similar warehouse equipment.
