Job Description

Are you eager to start a rewarding career in a specialized technical field? LensCrafters in Richmond Hill is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Optical Lab Technician (Junior). This is an entry-level position that includes comprehensive paid training. No prior experience in optics is required; we will provide you with all the knowledge and skills needed to excel. You will learn to craft precision eyewear, operate advanced laboratory equipment, and contribute to our mission of delivering clear vision to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in all provided paid training programs to learn optical lab procedures.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of optical lab equipment, including edgers, grinders, and frame warmers.
  • Inspect lenses and frames for quality, accuracy, and adherence to prescriptions.
  • Measure and mark lenses for proper alignment and cutting.
  • Perform minor adjustments and repairs to eyewear.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.
