Job Description
Are you ready for a challenging and rewarding career in the oil and gas industry? Schlumberger is seeking highly motivated and physically capable individuals to join our team as an Entry-Level Oilfield Casing Hand in Moreno Valley, CA. This is a demanding, hands-on role critical to the success of our drilling operations, offering top weekly pay for dedicated and hardworking individuals. As a Casing Hand, you will be an integral part of a crew responsible for safely and efficiently running casing and tubing in oil and gas wells. This position requires strict adherence to safety protocols, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in various weather conditions and remote locations. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the safe and efficient running of casing and tubing into oil and gas wells.
- Operate and maintain a variety of manual and power tools and equipment, including tongs, slips, and elevators.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying heavy equipment and materials.
- Conduct pre-job safety meetings and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in all required safety training and drills.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel on site.
- Work cooperatively as part of a crew to achieve operational goals.
- Be prepared for extended work hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational demands.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods in various environmental conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site in Moreno Valley, CA.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and physical examination.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Previous experience in heavy industrial labor, construction, or a similar demanding physical role.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine equipment maintenance.
