Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Night Porter to join our prestigious team at The Gainsborough Bath Spa. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to start a career in luxury hospitality, as full training will be provided. As a Night Porter, you will be crucial in ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of our guests and premises during the overnight hours. You will handle guest requests, manage security checks, assist with minor maintenance issues, and prepare for the morning shift. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and security of guests and hotel premises throughout the night.
- Conduct regular security checks and patrols of all areas, including guest floors and public spaces.
- Handle late arrivals and early departures efficiently and courteously.
- Respond promptly and professionally to all guest queries and requests, resolving issues where possible or escalating as necessary.
- Assist guests with luggage and other needs.
- Manage minor maintenance issues and log any significant problems for day staff.
- Set up and clear away meeting rooms or other public areas as required.
- Prepare for the morning shift, including ensuring all necessary reports and handover notes are ready.
- Monitor CCTV and alarm systems.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times, maintaining a calm and reassuring presence.
