Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Light Assembly & Packaging Assistant to join our busy team in Islington, London. This full-time position offers consistent day shifts and the convenience of weekly pay. As an essential part of our logistics operation, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient assembly and packaging of various products, ensuring they meet quality standards and are ready for distribution. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform light assembly tasks on products according to established guidelines and procedures.
- Accurately pick, pack, and label items for shipment, ensuring correct product count and quality.
- Operate basic hand tools and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled and packaged products, identifying and reporting any defects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure daily production targets are met.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including counting and restocking materials as needed.
Required Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
