Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Downstream Logistics Associate to join our fast-paced team in Newark, NJ. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals eager to kick-start their career in logistics and supply chain management. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods from our distribution centers to end customers, managing various aspects of last-mile delivery and inventory control. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating and monitoring outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Track and report on shipment statuses, resolving any delays or issues that arise.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks.
  • Communicate effectively with carriers, drivers, and internal departments.
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.
  • Support the optimization of delivery routes and logistics processes.
  • Utilize logistics software and systems for data entry and analysis.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
