Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Residential Porter to join the team at one of Bristol’s most exclusive upscale apartment complexes. This is a crucial role ensuring the smooth operation and pristine presentation of the building, while providing a welcoming and secure environment for all residents and visitors. You will be the first point of contact, offering assistance and maintaining the highest standards of service and discretion. Stable hours are offered, providing a consistent and reliable work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm and professional welcome to residents and visitors, assisting with inquiries and requests.
- Manage parcel deliveries, mail distribution, and key handling services.
- Monitor security systems, conduct regular patrols, and report any suspicious activities or maintenance issues.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of communal areas, including lobbies, hallways, and amenity spaces.
- Assist residents with baggage, groceries, and other items as needed.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors for repairs and services, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and discretion regarding resident information and building affairs.
- Handle minor maintenance tasks and report larger issues to the appropriate department.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the building.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of security procedures and equipment.
- Physical fitness to perform duties such as lifting and standing for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a porter, concierge, or hospitality role within a luxury residential or hotel environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols specific to residential buildings.
- First Aid certification.
