Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Trafficking Policy Aide with a strong International Safety Focus to join our growing team. This critical role supports various projects aimed at combating human trafficking globally, enhancing international safety protocols, and developing effective policy recommendations. The successful candidate will contribute to research, analysis, and policy development efforts, working closely with senior consultants and government clients to drive meaningful change. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on human trafficking trends, international safety standards, and related policy frameworks.
  • Draft policy briefs, reports, presentations, and other communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor legislative and policy developments related to human trafficking and international security at national and international levels.
  • Support the development and implementation of anti-human trafficking strategies and programs.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating workshops, meetings, and conferences with government officials, NGOs, and international partners.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate policy recommendations into broader strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and emerging issues in human trafficking prevention, protection, and prosecution.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to policy and project teams as needed.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Public Policy, Human Rights, or a related field
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting policy-oriented documents.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated interest in human trafficking, international security, or human rights issues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in policy analysis, research, or advocacy, particularly concerning human trafficking or international safety.
  • Familiarity with international law and human rights frameworks.
  • Experience working with government agencies, NGOs, or international organizations.
  • Fluency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, French, Arabic).
