Job Description
Are you under 21 with a passion for hospitality and eager to start a career in a dynamic hotel environment? Hilton St Albans is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Hotel Porters. This entry-level role is perfect for those looking to gain valuable experience, offering comprehensive training and a dedicated mentorship program to support your professional development. As a Hotel Porter, you will be the welcoming face of our hotel, ensuring guests have a smooth and comfortable experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling, storage, and retrieval.
- Escort guests to their rooms, providing information about hotel facilities and services.
- Assist guests with enquiries, directions, and transportation arrangements.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby, entrance, and public areas.
- Deliver newspapers, mail, and other items to guest rooms promptly.
- Support other hotel departments as needed, including front desk, housekeeping, and concierge.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
- Engage actively in training and mentorship programs to learn all aspects of the role and hospitality operations.
