Job Description
Join Nielsen Media Research as a Film & TV Show Rater, focusing exclusively on the vast Netflix library. This 100% remote position offers a unique opportunity to combine your passion for streaming content with a role that directly contributes to industry-leading media insights. You will be responsible for meticulously evaluating, categorizing, and providing structured feedback on a wide array of films and television series available on Netflix, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data collection. Your work will directly inform our analytical models and reports, helping our clients understand content performance and audience engagement trends. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of various genres, and the ability to articulate observations clearly and concisely, all from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities
- Watch assigned films and TV shows from the Netflix library with critical attention.
- Accurately rate and categorize content based on predefined criteria, including genre, themes, target audience, and content maturity.
- Provide detailed written qualitative feedback and quantitative scores on specific elements like plot, character development, production quality, and cultural relevance.
- Maintain consistency and adhere strictly to rating guidelines and methodology.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or technical issues encountered during content review.
- Participate in calibration sessions and training to ensure inter-rater reliability.
- Meet daily and weekly content review quotas and deadlines.
Required Skills
- Proven passion and extensive knowledge of films and TV shows across various genres.
