Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Hotel Breakfast Buffet Attendant to join our team. This role is perfect for early risers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy interacting with guests. You will be responsible for ensuring our breakfast buffet is beautifully presented, well-stocked, and provides a delightful start to our guests’ day. Key Responsibilities
- Set up and break down the breakfast buffet each morning, ensuring all food items are fresh and appealing.
- Replenish food, beverages, and supplies regularly to maintain a full and inviting buffet.
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with any questions or special requests related to the buffet.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the buffet area, dining room, and service stations.
- Monitor food temperatures and ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Clear and reset tables promptly, preparing the dining area for the next guests.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and efficiently, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.
- Basic understanding of food handling and safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of various breakfast items and dietary restrictions.
