Job Description

This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for those with no prior experience in healthcare – we provide all the necessary training! As an HCA, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care, supporting our healthcare professionals, and ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding, while promoting independence.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and observe changes in patient condition, reporting to the nursing staff.
- Support patients with their nutritional needs by assisting with meal times and feeding, and ensuring proper hydration.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe patient environment, including tidying rooms and changing linens.
- Respond to call bells and patient requests promptly and courteously.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Assist with restorative care and rehabilitation activities as directed by the care plan.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

- Completion of a First Aid and CPR certification (will be provided if not already held).
- A genuine interest in pursuing a long-term career in healthcare.
