Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Gym Locker Room Cleaner to join our team in Fairfield, CA. This crucial role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our locker rooms, showers, and restrooms, ensuring a consistently positive and hygienic experience for all our members. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of all locker room areas, including lockers, benches, and floors.
- Clean and disinfect showers, toilets, sinks, and other restroom fixtures regularly throughout the day.
- Restock all necessary supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and hand sanitizer.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or damage within the locker room facilities.
- Ensure all cleaning procedures comply with health and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized cleaning supply closet.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests and spills.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift moderate weights, and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe use.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role, preferably in a gym or hospitality setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
