Job Description
Are you a passionate graduate student looking to make a tangible impact? FranklinCovey is seeking highly motivated individuals for our Graduate Life Coaching Intern – Paid Summer Program. This immersive program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of life coaching, working alongside certified professionals. You will contribute to real-world projects, learn our renowned coaching methodologies, and develop essential skills for a successful career in personal and professional development. This is a structured, paid internship designed to provide comprehensive training and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior life coaches in facilitating workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions for clients.
- Conduct research on current coaching trends, methodologies, and client needs.
- Develop and prepare coaching materials, presentations, and resources under guidance.
- Participate in client intake processes and assist with needs assessments.
- Contribute to the creation of personalized development plans for coachees.
- Support administrative tasks related to program management and client scheduling.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities.
- Provide constructive feedback and contribute to team discussions.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Master's or PhD program in Psychology, Counseling, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Demonstrated passion for personal development, coaching, and empowering others.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in mentorship, tutoring, or leadership roles.
- Familiarity with various coaching models and theories.
- Basic understanding of adult learning principles.
- Experience with online collaboration tools and virtual meeting platforms.
- A GPA of 3.5 or higher.
