Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with over-the-counter product inquiries and direct them to the appropriate pharmacy staff for prescription-related questions.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy area, including shelving, display units, and work surfaces.
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing supplies, and identifying expired products for removal.
- Process prescription refills and new orders by accurately entering data into the pharmacy system under direct supervision.
- Handle incoming phone calls, direct inquiries to the correct department, and take messages when necessary.
- Operate point-of-sale systems for customer transactions, handling cash and card payments accurately.
- Prepare prescription labels and package medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all safety protocols.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and preparing documents.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations and company policies.
- Support the pharmacy team in maintaining an efficient and friendly environment for all customers.

Preferred Qualifications

- Ability to speak Spanish or Armenian (common languages in Glendale).
