Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Government Food Assistance Processor to join our team in an office-based setting. This crucial role involves processing applications, maintaining records, and ensuring the smooth operation of government-funded food assistance programs. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, a commitment to accuracy, and a desire to help individuals and families access vital food resources. You will be a key part of our effort to connect community members with the support they need.
Key Responsibilities
- Process applications for various government food assistance programs accurately and efficiently.
- Verify applicant information and documentation in compliance with program guidelines.
- Maintain confidential client records and program data with integrity.
- Communicate effectively with applicants to clarify information or provide updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless program delivery.
- Prepare reports on program participation and outcomes.
- Stay updated on changes in government regulations and program policies.
- Provide administrative support as needed to the program management team.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent data entry and record-keeping skills

Preferred Qualifications
