Job Description
Are you looking for a dynamic part-time role where you can be at the heart of exciting events? ASM Global is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Stewards/Ushers for weekend work at our world-class venues in Tulsa. No prior experience is required – we provide all necessary training! This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are customer-focused, enjoy working in a lively environment, and are available on weekends. You will be instrumental in ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and smooth experience for all event attendees.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with finding their seats or navigating the venue.
- Scan tickets accurately and direct attendees to the appropriate sections or areas.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing guest concerns with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Enforce venue policies and procedures to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all patrons.
- Monitor assigned sections for any issues, reporting incidents or emergencies to management.
- Assist with crowd control and maintain orderly queues as needed.
- Be knowledgeable about event schedules, amenities, and emergency procedures.
- Assist with post-event clean-up and breakdown tasks as required.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., retail, hospitality, food service).
- Basic knowledge of first aid procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
