Key Responsibilities
- Safely and respectfully transport patients between wards, departments, and diagnostic areas using appropriate equipment (e.g., wheelchairs, beds, trolleys).
- Assist patients with mobility and provide compassionate support during transfers.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and clinical staff to ensure smooth and coordinated movements.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of patient transport equipment, reporting any malfunctions.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, infection control protocols, and patient confidentiality policies.
- Respond promptly to requests for patient transport, prioritizing based on urgency.
