Job Description
Electronic Arts is seeking an enthusiastic and organized EA Support Staff member to join our team in Lubbock, TX. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals eager to start their career in the gaming industry, providing crucial administrative support alongside assisting with game playtesting logistics. You will be a vital part of ensuring smooth office operations and supporting the playtest environment, contributing to the overall quality and success of our interactive experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and organizing office supplies.
- Assist with data entry, document preparation, and maintaining organized filing systems.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Support the coordination and execution of game playtests, including setting up equipment and preparing playtest environments.
- Assist with player registration, scheduling, and ensuring a positive experience for playtesters.
- Gather and organize playtest feedback, transcribing notes and consolidating data for analysis.
- Ensure office common areas are tidy and well-maintained.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support daily operations.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Basic understanding of, or strong interest in, video games and the gaming industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or some college coursework.
- Previous experience in an administrative support role (even if not in gaming).
- Familiarity with various gaming platforms and genres.
- Experience with scheduling software or project management tools.
