Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Remote Developer (Scribe) to join our innovative team. In this unique role, you will be instrumental in refining and improving our AI models by acting as a ‘scribe’ – meticulously providing structured feedback, generating diverse datasets, and developing small-scale tools to enhance AI capabilities. This position requires a blend of technical aptitude, strong analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with AI researchers and engineers, contributing directly to the intelligence and ethical development of our cutting-edge AI systems. This is a 100% remote position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate high-quality, diverse textual data inputs to train and evaluate AI models.
  • Provide detailed, structured feedback on AI model outputs, identifying areas for improvement in reasoning, factual accuracy, and coherence.
  • Develop and implement small scripts or tools to automate data processing, analysis, or interaction with AI models.
  • Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to understand model limitations and contribute to solutions.
  • Participate in A/B testing and experimentation cycles to measure the impact of changes.
  • Document findings, methodologies, and best practices for data generation and model feedback.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in AI and natural language processing.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex technical concepts.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or a related technical field.
  • Prior experience with data annotation, data labeling, or prompt engineering.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and natural language processing (NLP).
  • Experience contributing to open-source projects or personal coding projects.
