Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to provide high-quality mental healthcare to patients across various states via our secure telehealth platform. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging technology to expand access to mental health services, possess excellent clinical skills, and be committed to delivering patient-centered care. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy to individuals with a wide range of mental health conditions, ensuring continuity of care and promoting overall well-being. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for new and existing patients via telehealth.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and brief supportive psychotherapy.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment as necessary, and collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
- Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines related to psychiatric practice and telehealth.
Required Skills
- Current, unrestricted Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license.
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited PMHNP program.
- DEA registration.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PMHNP.
- Proficiency in conducting psychiatric assessments and medication management via telehealth.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer literacy and comfort with EHR systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Multiple state licenses as a PMHNP.
- Experience with various EMR/EHR systems.
- Certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., addiction medicine).
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish).
- Prior experience in a fully remote or telehealth-focused role.
