Job Description

Trulieve is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Dispensary Aides in Wesley Chapel, FL. This is an entry-level position where no prior experience is needed – we provide comprehensive training! As a Dispensary Aide, you will be the face of Trulieve, assisting patients with product selection, ensuring a positive experience, and maintaining dispensary operations. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients warmly to the dispensary, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Assist patients in selecting appropriate medical cannabis products based on their needs and physician recommendations, providing clear and accurate information.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems, handling cash and electronic payments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock rotation, ensuring products are always available and properly displayed.
- Educate patients on product usage, dosage, consumption methods, and potential effects.
- Ensure strict compliance with all state and local regulations governing medical cannabis, including verifying patient eligibility and identification.
- Keep the dispensary clean, organized, and well-stocked, adhering to visual merchandising standards.
- Answer patient questions clearly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any concerns.
- Adhere to strict safety and security protocols at all times to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong customer service orientation with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to learn and retain product knowledge quickly and accurately.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks.
- Must be at least 21 years of age due to industry regulations.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check as required by state law.
- Basic computer proficiency for operating POS systems and other digital tools.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service environments is a plus.
- A genuine interest in the medical cannabis industry and its benefits.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a bonus to serve our diverse patient base.
