Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Entry-Level Dispatch Runner to join our fast-paced warehouse logistics team in Belfast. As a Dispatch Runner, you will be crucial to our daily operations, ensuring packages are sorted, prepared, and dispatched efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the sorting, scanning, and organizing of packages and freight within the warehouse.
- Prepare packages for dispatch, including labeling and loading onto delivery vehicles.
- Conduct local delivery and collection runs using company vehicles, ensuring timely and safe transport.
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatched and received items, completing necessary paperwork and digital entries.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on company vehicles, reporting any issues promptly.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines for warehouse operations and driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, drivers, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries, representing DHL Express professionally.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving license with a clean record.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 25kg.
