Job Description
Are you passionate about coffee and customer service but have no prior experience? This is the perfect opportunity to kickstart your career as a Trainee Barista / Coffee Shop Assistant with Costa Coffee in Redditch! We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals with a willingness to learn, a friendly attitude, and a desire to provide excellent service. You’ll join a vibrant team, learn the art of coffee making from scratch, and contribute to a bustling coffee shop environment during daytime hours. Full training will be provided, ensuring you develop all the skills needed to become a fantastic barista.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive training in coffee preparation, milk frothing, and latte art.
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages according to Costa Coffee standards.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and welcoming service to all customers.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of the coffee shop, including seating areas, counters, and equipment.
- Assist with stock rotation, replenishment, and deliveries.
- Support the team in opening and closing procedures.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- No prior experience required; full training provided.
