Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and curious DAO Governance & Operations Intern to join our innovative team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving world of Decentralized Autonomous Organizations. You will work closely with our Web3 experts, contributing to the development and optimization of governance processes and operational frameworks for various DAO initiatives within Consensys and our partners. This is a 100% remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in researching and analyzing current DAO governance models and best practices across the Web3 ecosystem.
- Support the documentation of governance proposals, processes, and decision-making frameworks.
- Help organize and facilitate virtual community meetings and governance discussions.
- Contribute to the operational setup and management of DAO tooling (e.g., Snapshot, Tally, Gnosis Safe).
- Engage with the DAO community to gather feedback and foster participation.
- Prepare reports and presentations on DAO performance and governance metrics.
- Participate in internal educational sessions and workshops on blockchain and DAO topics.
Required Skills
- Foundational understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
- Excellent research and analytical abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using digital collaboration tools (e.g., Discord, Slack, Notion).
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with specific DAO platforms or tools (e.g., Snapshot, Aragon, Gnosis Safe).
- Basic understanding of smart contracts or Solidity.
- Prior involvement in a DAO or Web3 community.
- Experience with data analysis or reporting.
