Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Architecture Draftsperson to join our dynamic team in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a diverse range of prestigious architectural projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating design concepts into detailed technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, using CAD software.
- Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and engineers to understand project requirements and design intent.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to project specifications, building codes, and industry standards.
- Assist in the development of project documentation, schedules, and material specifications.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project teams and clients.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation.
- Participate in design meetings and contribute technical insights.
- Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Strong understanding of architectural drafting principles and techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret architectural sketches, drawings, and specifications.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an architectural drafting role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architectural Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
- Experience with other BIM software (e.g., ArchiCAD, SketchUp).
- Portfolio demonstrating high-quality architectural drafting work.
- Experience working on large-scale commercial or public sector projects.
