Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and meticulous Commercial Cleaner to join our team in Geelong. This part-time role offers consistent morning hours, ideal for individuals looking for a stable work schedule. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of a professional office environment, ensuring a high standard of presentation for our client. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchenettes, ensuring all surfaces are hygienic.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in designated areas.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels.
- Clean internal glass partitions and surfaces.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within the allotted 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM shift.
Required Skills
- Proven reliability and punctuality.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete tasks within the schedule.
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or a similar role is highly regarded.
- Familiarity with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) guidelines.
- Current police check or willingness to obtain one.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation.
