Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Pro Furniture Assembly – Multi-Brand Specialist to join our dynamic team in Geelong. This role requires an expert individual capable of assembling a wide array of furniture from various brands, ensuring precision, stability, and aesthetic integrity. You will be instrumental in delivering a superior customer experience by providing professional, efficient, and reliable assembly services, both in-store and at customer locations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of different furniture construction methods and tool usage, a strong commitment to quality, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble a diverse range of furniture items from various manufacturers and brands according to specifications and instructions.
- Ensure all assembled furniture meets quality standards, is stable, and free from defects.
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Perform on-site furniture assembly at customer homes or businesses, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly challenges efficiently, often without direct supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, both in-store and at customer premises.
- Provide clear communication with customers regarding assembly timelines and processes.
- Manage inventory of assembly tools and components, ensuring all necessary parts are present.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
