Job Description
Are you an energetic individual looking for an active role with immediate start? Sobeys is seeking a dedicated Click & Collect Order Shopper to join our team in Cornwall, PEI. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling online grocery orders, ensuring our customers receive the freshest and highest quality products. This is a fast-paced position that requires attention to detail, excellent time management, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer online grocery orders according to specified quality and freshness standards.
- Ensure all products selected match the customer's order, including specific brands, sizes, and quantities.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including being aware of promotions and substitutions.
- Handle products with care, ensuring proper storage and temperature control until customer pickup.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding product availability and order discrepancies.
- Assist with inventory management and product rotation as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service during order hand-off and assist with customer inquiries.
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
- Work efficiently to meet order fulfillment deadlines and maintain customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 20 lbs), and move quickly for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort using handheld devices.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or grocery environment.
