Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and innovation initiatives for our global talent platforms. As CTO, you will be responsible for setting the technical vision, developing and executing the technology roadmap, and overseeing all aspects of software development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. This role requires a leader with a strong understanding of cloud technologies, AI/ML, and scalable enterprise solutions, coupled with a passion for building high-performing, globally distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the overall technology strategy and roadmap, aligning with business objectives and growth ambitions.
- Lead, mentor, and expand a world-class engineering and technology team across multiple global locations.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and resilient software solutions and infrastructure.
- Foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement within the engineering organization.
- Manage the technology budget, resources, and vendor relationships effectively.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of all technology systems and data.
- Act as a technical evangelist, representing the company at industry events and with key partners and customers.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and development methodologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate closely with product management, sales, and marketing teams to ensure technology supports product vision and market needs.
Required Skills
- 15+ years of progressive experience in software engineering and technology leadership roles.
- Proven track record as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or similar executive leadership position.
- Deep expertise in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS architecture.
- Strong understanding of modern software development practices, including Agile/Scrum, DevOps, and microservices.
- Experience building and scaling high-performance engineering teams, including global and remote teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with AI/Machine Learning, big data technologies, and advanced analytics.
- Previous experience in the CRM, HR Tech, or talent management industry.
- Strong background in cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Active participation in industry conferences or open-source communities.
