Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Chauffeur to join our distinguished team at The Biltmore Hotel Coral Gables. This role is crucial in delivering an exceptional first impression and seamless transportation experience for our discerning guests. The ideal candidate will possess impeccable driving skills, a thorough understanding of luxury client service, and an unwavering commitment to safety and punctuality. You will be responsible for transporting guests to and from various destinations, ensuring their comfort, privacy, and satisfaction while upholding the highest standards of discretion and professionalism. This position offers performance-based yearly bonuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport hotel guests to their desired destinations, including airports, local attractions, and private events.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle in pristine condition, ensuring cleanliness, fuel levels, and basic operational checks before and after each trip.
- Plan and execute routes efficiently, accounting for traffic, road conditions, and guest preferences to ensure timely arrivals.
- Provide courteous and professional assistance with luggage and personal belongings.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding guest information and itineraries.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and report any issues promptly to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Represent The Biltmore Hotel Coral Gables with utmost professionalism and a commitment to five-star service.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional chauffeur or commercial driving experience.
- Valid Class E (or equivalent) Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Excellent knowledge of the Coral Gables, Miami-Dade, and surrounding South Florida areas.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on luxury customer service.
- Impeccable punctuality and time management abilities.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage (up to 50 lbs).
Preferred Qualifications
- Chauffeur license or endorsement.
- Experience driving luxury vehicles (e.g., sedans, SUVs, limousines).
- Familiarity with in-car navigation systems and smartphone applications.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
