Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and customer-focused Chauffeur Aide – Support Lead Driver to join our team in New Port Richey, FL. In this crucial support role, you will assist our Lead Drivers in providing premium transportation services, ensuring vehicles are impeccably maintained, and clients experience the highest level of comfort and professionalism. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to grow within the luxury transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Lead Drivers with luggage handling, passenger comfort, and route navigation as needed.
  • Ensure vehicles are immaculately clean, fueled, and stocked with amenities before each trip.
  • Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing Mears Transportation with excellence.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, anticipating client needs and ensuring a pleasant experience.
  • Support scheduling and logistics coordination, helping to optimize driver routes and efficiency.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
  • Assist with minor vehicle tasks, such as tire pressure checks or fluid top-offs, under supervision.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, and service details.

Required Skills

  • Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to lift and carry luggage (up to 50 lbs).
  • Proficiency in basic smartphone navigation applications.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Customer service oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service, hospitality, or transportation role.
  • Knowledge of the New Port Richey and greater Tampa Bay area.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
