Job Description

Merlin Entertainments Group is seeking an enthusiastic and highly extroverted Carnival Game Attendant for our upcoming special events in Kettering. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a lively atmosphere, loves interacting with people, and can create a fun and engaging experience for every guest. Your primary goal will be to encourage participation, explain games with excitement, and ensure everyone leaves with a positive memory – and maybe a prize or two! We’re looking for individuals who are ready to hit the ground running and be the heart of the carnival atmosphere. Immediate start available for the right candidates, with cash paid for your hard work and infectious energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage enthusiastically with guests, encouraging participation in carnival games.
- Clearly and excitingly explain game rules and objectives to diverse audiences.
- Operate carnival games safely and efficiently.
- Process cash transactions accurately and handle prize distribution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting game booth area.
- Resolve minor guest inquiries or concerns with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Contribute to a high-energy and positive atmosphere throughout the event.
Required Skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Naturally extroverted and comfortable engaging with strangers.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and prize calculation.
