Job Description
Are you an enthusiastic individual with a knack for entertainment and customer service? Red Deer Bingo Centre is seeking a dynamic Bingo Hall Caller & Floor Staff member to join our lively team. This dual role is perfect for someone who loves engaging with people, can command a room, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be the voice of our bingo games, creating excitement as a caller, and an essential part of our floor team, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all our patrons. This is an entertaining role with excellent opportunities for tips!
Key Responsibilities
- Call bingo games clearly, energetically, and at an appropriate pace, announcing numbers with enthusiasm.
- Verify winning bingo cards accurately and efficiently, confirming patterns and payouts.
- Distribute bingo cards, dabbers, and other supplies to players.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting players with game rules, questions, and general needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bingo hall environment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately for sales of bingo cards and supplies.
- Monitor the gaming floor for fair play and adherence to house rules.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the bingo hall.
- Engage with players to foster a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and public speaking skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Basic mathematical skills for verifying wins and handling cash.
