Job Description
Are you passionate about coffee and creating a welcoming atmosphere? We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Barista Trainees in Bloomington, IL. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive, paid training to help you master the art of coffee making and customer service. You’ll learn everything from crafting perfect espresso drinks to operating state-of-the-art equipment and delivering Starbucks’ signature customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and master the art of espresso preparation, coffee brewing, and drink customization.
- Provide exceptional customer service, taking orders accurately and with a friendly demeanor.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Prepare food items, such as pastries and sandwiches, to Starbucks standards.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold Starbucks values.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed.
