Job Description
Are you a motivated 16-year-old looking for your first job experience? FedEx Ground in Oceanside, CA, is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Packers to join our team for part-time, 4-hour shifts. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience in a fast-paced logistics environment. No prior experience is required – we’ll provide all the training you need to succeed!
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort, scan, and load/unload packages and freight within the warehouse.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, once properly trained.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed to support team operations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Required Skills
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation).
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during shifts.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills.

- Prior experience in a team-based environment (e.g., school projects, sports teams).
