Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Bank Teller to join our Escondido team. In this role, you will be the face of Bank of America, providing exceptional customer service and handling a variety of financial transactions. Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cashing checks.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and adhere to all security procedures.
  • Identify customer needs and offer appropriate banking products and services to enhance their financial well-being.
  • Build strong customer relationships by providing personalized, friendly, and efficient service.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
  • Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards, including BSA/AML requirements.
  • Educate customers on available digital banking tools and services to empower their financial management.

Required Skills

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software applications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous cash handling or customer service experience in any industry.
  • Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) is a significant plus.
  • Familiarity with basic banking products and services.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with diverse customers.
