Job Description
Are you a young, enthusiastic individual ready to make a positive impact in a fast-paced and friendly restaurant environment? The Cheesecake Factory in Austin, TX, is seeking a Professional Hostess to join our team. This entry-level role is perfect for a 15-year-old who is eager to develop their customer service skills, learn the ropes of the hospitality industry, and contribute to an outstanding guest experience. You will be the first point of contact for our valued guests, playing a crucial role in setting the tone for their dining journey. We are looking for someone reliable, friendly, and eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all guests with a genuine smile and welcoming demeanor upon arrival and departure.
- Efficiently manage the guest waiting list and accurately estimate wait times.
- Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and inform them of their server's name.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization at the host stand and entrance area.
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and assist with reservation inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Help maintain a positive and efficient flow of guests through the dining room.
- Learn and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
