Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Retail Support Hand to join our Canadian Tire team in Saskatoon. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for immediate employment in a no-stress environment. You’ll be assisting with general store tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our retail floor and back-of-house. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with basic inquiries and direct them to appropriate departments.
  • Help with stocking shelves and organizing merchandise on the sales floor.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store, including aisles, display areas, and staff rooms.
  • Support inventory management by helping with incoming shipments and organizing the stockroom.
  • Prepare items for display, including pricing and tagging where necessary.
  • Assist cashiers with bagging customer purchases during peak hours.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks as assigned by store management.
  • Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for both customers and colleagues.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move merchandise (up to 25 lbs).
  • Basic communication skills.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment (even if informal).
  • Familiarity with Canadian Tire products and services.
