Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Retail Support Hand to join our Canadian Tire team in Saskatoon. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for immediate employment in a no-stress environment. You’ll be assisting with general store tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our retail floor and back-of-house. Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with basic inquiries and direct them to appropriate departments.
- Help with stocking shelves and organizing merchandise on the sales floor.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store, including aisles, display areas, and staff rooms.
- Support inventory management by helping with incoming shipments and organizing the stockroom.
- Prepare items for display, including pricing and tagging where necessary.
- Assist cashiers with bagging customer purchases during peak hours.
- Perform general maintenance tasks as assigned by store management.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for both customers and colleagues.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move merchandise (up to 25 lbs).
- Basic communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment (even if informal).
- Familiarity with Canadian Tire products and services.
