Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Reach Truck Specialist to join our night shift team at the Greensboro Fulfillment Center. This role is critical to maintaining inventory accuracy and efficient movement of products within our warehouse. As a Reach Truck Specialist, you will operate reach trucks to move, stack, and retrieve merchandise, ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently. You will also be responsible for various warehouse tasks, contributing to a smooth and productive operation. Key Responsibilities
- Operate reach trucks safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve pallets and products in the warehouse.
- Perform daily equipment checks and minor maintenance on reach trucks to ensure operational readiness.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring accurate product placement and secure stacking.
- Relocate product from inbound to storage locations and from storage to outbound staging areas.
- Verify product quantities and report any discrepancies, damage, or quality issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Support inventory control activities, including cycle counting and slotting optimization.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed, including manual lifting and material handling.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a reach truck or similar material handling equipment.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for inventory scanning and data entry.
- Commitment to safety procedures and protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a large-scale fulfillment center or distribution environment.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Current or previous certification in reach truck operation.
