Job Description

Are you passionate about cars and have a keen eye for detail? Do you want to kickstart a rewarding career with one of the UK’s largest automotive retailers? We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Mobile Car Valeter Trainee to join our dynamic team in Cardiff. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the ropes of professional car valeting, working with a variety of vehicles and earning commission on every car you transform. Key Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive training on professional car valeting techniques and products.
  • Perform exterior and interior valeting to a high standard on a variety of vehicles.
  • Travel to various customer or dealership locations in and around Cardiff to provide mobile valeting services.
  • Use appropriate cleaning equipment and solutions safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and quality assurance before handover.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report replenishment needs.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients.
  • Manage time effectively to complete valeting tasks within set timeframes.

Required Skills

  • Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
  • A passion for cars and an interest in automotive care.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical fitness to perform tasks involving bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer service role.
  • Basic knowledge of car care products and techniques.
  • A clean driving record for at least 2 years.
