Job Description

Join the welcoming team at Hilton Hotels & Resorts in Portsmouth as a Hotel Porter. In this vital front-of-house role, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, setting the tone for their entire stay. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting guests with luggage, parking, and general inquiries, ensuring their comfort and convenience from arrival to departure. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic, a friendly demeanour, and a passion for hospitality. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
  • Assist guests with their luggage, loading and unloading from vehicles and transporting to and from rooms.
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Assist with parking and car retrieval as needed.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues promptly and courteously.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby and entrance areas.
  • Collaborate with the front desk and other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure efficient hotel operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the Portsmouth area.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • First Aid certification.
