Job Description
Are you passionate about technology and eager to kick-start your career in cloud computing? IBM Canada is looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Cloud Computing Intern program. This unique internship offers comprehensive training in both AWS and Azure platforms, equipping you with the foundational knowledge and practical skills required to excel in the rapidly evolving cloud landscape. Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in structured training programs for AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Assist senior engineers with cloud infrastructure setup, configuration, and maintenance tasks.
- Learn to deploy and manage cloud resources under supervision.
- Conduct research on cloud best practices, new services, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with team members on assigned projects and tasks.
- Document processes, configurations, and project progress accurately.
- Troubleshoot basic cloud-related issues with guidance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Required Skills
- Strong interest in cloud computing and modern technology.
- Basic understanding of computer science fundamentals or IT concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant post-secondary program (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with any programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts.
- Exposure to Linux/Unix command-line.
- Prior academic projects involving cloud concepts.
