Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and eager Spa Water Quality Tech with a keen focus on maintenance to join our team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone looking to start a career in facility maintenance and water management within a luxury hospitality setting. Full training will be provided to ensure you become proficient in all aspects of spa water quality testing, treatment, and minor equipment maintenance. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the pristine condition and safety of our spa facilities, ensuring a top-tier experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily water quality tests (pH, chlorine/bromine, alkalinity, calcium hardness) for all spa pools, hot tubs, and water features.
- Accurately record and report all test results, identifying any deviations from established parameters.
- Adjust chemical levels as needed to maintain optimal water balance and sanitation, following strict safety protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on spa filtration systems, pumps, and heating equipment.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions promptly to the engineering team.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the spa's mechanical rooms and chemical storage areas.
- Ensure compliance with all local health and safety regulations related to water quality and spa operations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance technical skills.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn about spa equipment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying environmental conditions.

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hotel, spa, or facility maintenance environment is a plus, but not required.
- Basic understanding of water chemistry or willingness to learn quickly.
- Valid driver's license.
