Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bank Teller with strong bilingual skills in Spanish and English to join our team in Rialto, CA. In this role, you will be the front-line representative of Wells Fargo, providing exceptional service to our diverse customer base. You will process transactions accurately and efficiently, identify customer needs, and refer them to appropriate banking products and services. Your ability to communicate effectively in both Spanish and English will be crucial in serving our community and ensuring a positive banking experience for all customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and cashing checks.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
- Identify customer financial needs and proactively refer them to relevant products and services, such as new accounts, loans, or credit cards.
- Maintain strict adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Balance cash drawer daily and assist with branch opening and closing procedures.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Assist customers with self-service options and educate them on digital banking tools.
- Support branch goals by contributing to sales efforts and service targets.
Required Skills
- Fluency in Spanish and English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong cash handling and mathematical abilities.
- Proven customer service experience.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and banking software (or ability to quickly learn).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bank teller or in a similar cash-handling role.
- Experience in sales or cross-selling financial products.
- Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field.
